VALERII ZALUZHNYI SAYS THANK-YOU
This February, the Ukrainian military commander (June 2021 – February 2024) Valerii Zaluzhnyi handed over a Ukrainian flag to GCMM/IRR-TV in gratitude for their support for Ukraine. In addition to his personal signature, the commander of the armed forces had drawn a picture of a heart.

It has been two years since Ukraine’s heroic resistance to the full-scale aggression of Russia and nearly ten years since the occupation of Russia’s Crimea and parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The greatest war in Europe since the Second World War is about to begin, and once again the world must resist evil, terror, and genocide. Ukrainians are on the battlefield already, but in the modern globalized world, this war is already affecting or will affect everyone. On behalf of the Ukrainian people, I express our deepest gratitude to the Finnish people for their outstanding solidarity and support.
This solidarity and support will encourage Ukrainians to remain strong and to fight Russia for Europe’s security and future. We are inspired by hundreds of Finnish initiatives to support Ukraine.
